Wow, can you believe we are hearing about the 6th huricane of the season. Let's just hope and pray it doesn't spoil all our weekend fun! This weekend, we celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the store. What a roller coaster ride it has been. We hope you drop by to celebrate with us Friday evening or Saturday and show your support not only for the store but also for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. During our first annual ScrapPink event, 10% of all proceeds will be donated to the foundation. There are just a couple spots left for the actual crop...call the store today if you are interested.
As far as the rest of the fall goes, we have some great classes lined up! On Sat., Sept. 
27 from 1-3 pm, attendees will have the chance to make a Jacob's Ladder book. This is an advanced class and space is limited. While the picture attached does not represent the actual papers being used, it does give you an idea of how many wonderful embellishments and techniques you will get to expreience.

This is a great opportunity for you to work on your scrapping projects with your children and if your not sure WHAT to do with them, we will help give you ideas. The event is to be held the last Sunday of each month from noon - 4 pm; cost is just $5 per child (adults with children are free); snacks are provided; sign up early as space is limited. They even get to experience a MAKE-N-TAKE!
Don't forget to stop by Friday between 6 and 9 pm and Saturday between 10 am and 6 pm to enjoy a slice of celebration cake! Hope to see you there :)
